A Claymont man has been charged with sexually assaulting an underage female at a mobile home park.

New Castle County police say 32-year-old Brendan McGarry tried to talk to the girl early Saturday morning around 1:30 a.m. on the unit block of Virginia Avenue within the Naamans Mobile Home Park. The girl tried to walk away when police say McGarry sexually assaulted her.
Police responded to a report of the alleged assault. When they arrived, they found McGarry and took him into custody.
McGarry is charged with two counts of unlawful sexual contact with a minor and offensive touching. He was released after posting bail and ordered to have no contact with the girl.
