Man Accused of Secretly Recording Women in Target Dressing Rooms

An alleged peeping Tom is in police custody after police say he secretly recorded women inside a dressing room in a Montgomery County Target store.

Miklos Jugovics, 32, of Warminster, is accused of spying on women in dressing rooms at the Target located on Old York Road in Abington Township.

On March 21, a female customer told Abington Police she had been trying on clothes in the changing room inside the Target when she saw a small device under the wall.

“As I was picking up my clothes I noticed a pen-like instrument with a blue light,”she told NBC10. “When I went to grab it, it got pulled away from me."

The woman believed a man was using a camera to watch and record her. When she went to confront him he was already gone however.

Target staff later gave police a surveillance photo of a man who was seen in the area when the incident occurred, investigators said.

On Saturday around 2:15 p.m., Target employees saw someone in the area of the changing rooms who appeared to be the same man spotted on March 21. They identified the man as Jugovics and he was later taken into custody.

Jugovics allegedly admitted to police he had recorded women changing in the dressing rooms of the store on several occasions.

Jugovics used a ballpoint pen with a built-in video camera he had bought on the Internet, investigators said. Jugovics told police he downloaded the images onto a computer in his home but never uploaded any images to the Internet or distributed them, according to officials.

Police recovered the pen camera and seized the computer as well as additional items from his home Sunday after serving a search warrant, investigators said.

Police say Jugovics may have secretly recorded women at the Target several times between November, 2014 and March 28, 2015.
