A prep school graduate accused of having been one of the leaders of a ring selling drugs to high school and college students in the affluent Main Line suburbs of Philadelphia has pleaded guilty to charges including participation in a corrupt organization.
Nineteen-year-old Timothy Brooks of Villanova also entered pleas in Montgomery County Court to possession with intent to distribute and criminal conspiracy.
Defense attorney Greg Pagano said his client pleaded to five of the 13 counts against him to take responsibility for his actions and regrets what his lawyer called "the poor decisions he's made."
Prosecutors said Brooks and 25-year-old Neil Scott recruited and supplied dealers with marijuana, cocaine, and other drugs. Scott is awaiting a court hearing next week. Five other people have entered pleas in the case.
