Loud Truck Flees After Pennsylvania Woman Loses Her Mailbox

A loud exhaust.

That’s what Pennsylvania State Police said a woman noticed about the truck that fled from the scene of a mailbox theft in Berks County, Pennsylvania early Friday.

A 25-year-old Bechtelsville woman told investigators that someone removed her mailbox on the 2000 block of Old Route 100 then fled in a pickup truck with big tires and possibly a diesel engine around 3 a.m., said investigators.

Police asked anyone with information to contact Trooper Rooney at the Reading Barracks, 610-378-4011.
