Marshals Nab Suspect 6 Months After Delaware House Party Shooting

Delaware State Police say a Dover man wanted in a Magnolia house party shooting more than six months ago has been arrested.

Police announced in a news release Tuesday morning that the U.S. Marshals Service's fugitive task force took 20-year-old Denzel Braker into custody on Monday and turned him over to detectives at Troop 3.

Police say Braker was charged with assault, four counts of reckless endangering and a weapons offense and is being held on $127,500 cash bond.

Police say Braker pulled out a handgun during a fight at a June 13 party, assaulted a 20-year-old Magnolia man with the gun, then shot a 30-year-old Dover man before fleeing. Police said at the time that both men were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
