6 Arrested at Philly's Made in America Concert

The third-annual “Budweiser Made in America” festival wrapped up Sunday bringing dozens of musical acts and tens of thousands of spectators to the Ben Franklin Parkway in Center City Philadelphia.

Aside from some weather delays Sunday, most people on hand enjoyed themselves without incident but not everyone in the crowd -- estimated by concert organizers to be around 80,000 over two days -- stayed within the law.

Philadelphia Police made six arrests in total around the festival area on Saturday and Sunday. Five of the arrests occurred within the concert grounds while the other arrest happened outside the concert that featured headliners Kanye West, Kings of Leon, Pharrell Williams and many others.

Police didn’t reveal the nature of the arrests.

The two-day extravaganza curated by rap mogul Jay Z has been held annually in Philadelphia over Labor Day weekend since 2012. This year, he added a second event in Los Angeles.

The six arrests here in Philly paled in comparison to the dozens of arrests reported at Los Angeles’ concert.
