A multiple police car chase down Lincoln Drive Thursday morning ended with a police officer with an injured foot, shots fired, and a suspect with a bullet wound, according to police.
At about 11:30 a.m. on the westbound side of 6600 block of Lincoln Drive, police officers discharged their weapons during a police chase.
The incident began at the 400-block of West Horner Street when police responded to a domestic dispute. A male suspect became combative and,while trying to flee in his car, he ran over a police officer's foot, police say.
The suspect was tasered and shot once in the back, according to police. He was brought to Einstein Medical Center where he is in stable condition, according to police.
