A man who works as a lifeguard in Atlantic City has been accused in a sex assault case.
An Atlantic City lifeguard is in custody after he allegedly sexually assaulted an underage girl.
Police say 21-year-old David Mariche Banos met a 15-year-old girl from Northvale, NJ through an Internet chat room. While talking to her, Banos allegedly lied about his age.
Police say Banos made arrangements to meet her in person. When they finally met, police say the two engaged in sexual activity.
Last Thursday, Banos was arrested and charged with sexual assault. His bail was set at $75,000 with no 10% option and no contact with the victim. He was remanded to the Bergen County Jail.
In addition to living there, Banos also worked as a lifeguard in Atlantic City.
