A man survived being shot in the back overnight.
Gunfire rang out around midnight at 4st Street and Lancaster Avenue in West Philadelphia.
In total six shots were fired. Philadelphia Police said that at least one bullet struck a 36-year-old man in the back. He was rushed to the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania in stable condition.
Investigators said that a man in his 20s wearing dark clothing could be seen fleeing the scene.
