L&I Changes Construction Signage Requirements

Construction and demolition sites in Philadelphia are now subject to new regulations concerning their signage.

Construction and demolition projects involving buildings that are four or more stories in height (or 10,000 square feet in lot space) must display signs at least 3 feet by 5 feet in a prominent location.

The signs must identify the property address, property owner, contractor, renderings, and work completion date, as well as contact information to report any suspected violations.

Projects involving buildings three stories or less will also be required to post a project information sign measuring 11 inches by 17 inches.
