King of Prussia Pizzeria Vetri to Open Next Month

The King of Prussia Mall will soon have another eatery by a Philadelphia chef and restaurateur.

And fans of Philadelphia chef Marc Vetri's Pizzeria Vetri and mall-goers won't have to wait that long for his fifth location to open. The restaurant concept will open in October, although a specific date has not been announced yet.

The Pizzeria Vetri will be located next to the Urban Outfitters on what was once called The Court at the King of Prussia Mall (the mall is now one mall after the opening of its 155,000-square-foot connector).

Accommodating about 60 diners, Pizzeria Vetri will specialize in the concept's "Pizza al Taglio," inspired by the traditional Roman square pie, and it will have an expanded menu that will include stuffed and rolled pizza dough and seasonal salads.

New menu items include dessert pizzettes, including apple pie crumble variation, and a Southern-inspired gelato in collaboration with Chef Kevin Sbraga, who will be opening an outpost of The Fat Ham in the “Savor King of Prussia," a high-end food court with seven fast-casual restaurants.
