The family of a 58-year-old New Jersey woman killed in a hit-and-run accident last month issued an emotional plea Wednesday for help finding the person who struck their "beloved wife, mother and Nanna."

Kelly Chalkley, a mother of three, was killed Nov. 7 in the Mount Laurel Park parking lot off Warwick Turnpike in West Milford. She had taken the dog Misty for a walk, and her family became concerned when only the Saint Bernard came home. Chalkley was found lying dead on the pavement.

No arrests have been made in the case and police have said the investigation is ongoing.

But the Chalkley family is tired of waiting.

"We cannot begin to heal as a family until we have the answers we so desperately need," the family said in a statement.

"To the driver involved in this accident, we are pleading for you to come forward and rid yourself of the tremendous guilt we imagine you are bearing," the statement continued. "We assure you the weight on your shoulders will be lifted once you free yourself from the burden you have been carrying."

The family has been offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest, but doubled that Wednesday to $20,000. Anyone who knows anything about the accident is asked to call the West Milford Police at 973-728-2800 or the Passaic County Prosecutors Office at 877-370-7276.
