K-9 Nabs Window-Jumping Drug Dealer

Camden Police are crediting a K-9 and his partner for nabbing a drug dealer who jumped from a window to escape capture.

Police were called to an apparent drug deal between the suspect, Muneer Abdur-Ahman, 29, and someone else on 7th and Vine streets just after 6 p.m. Monday.

They say Abdur-Ahman fled the scene and ran into 722 Vine Street. Police followed him into the house and up to the second floor where they witnessed the man jump out of the window.

The suspect ran through neighboring yards before hiding in one. He was quickly found and apprehended by K-9 Achilles and Officer Allen Williams, according to authorities.

Abdur-Ahman and a 24-year-old woman, Jessica Saxton, who lived in the house at 722 Vine, were arrested. Both are facing multiple charges, including possession of crack cocaine and heroin. Abdur-Ahman is also charged with resisting arrest.

Bail is set at $87,500 and $85,000 respectively.
