Jurors to Mull Deadly Pa. Home Invasion Case

Benjamin Luck, 27, died in Allentown three days before Christmas 2005

Jurors in eastern Pennsylvania are expected to begin deliberations Monday in the death penalty trial of a man accused in a deadly home invasion four years ago.

Charles Pack, 53, is charged with homicide, burglary, robbery and conspiracy in the murder of Benjamin Luck, 27, in Allentown three days before Christmas in 2005.

Police say Pack's blood was found all over the apartment. He was charged in 2008 after investigators said DNA evidence linked him to the crime.

Public defender Jim Nechin says his client's blood was found in the kitchen and not in the living room where the victim was killed. He called witnesses Friday to suggest that a key prosecution witness may have had a role in the crime. Pack told the judge that he would not testify in his own defense.
