Jersey City officials said a city police officer died while traveling overseas.
City Spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill announced Thursday that officer James Forrester had been found dead in Cambodia.
Morrill said the U.S. State Department had notified the city about the death on Wednesday, but she said further details on his passing were not immediately available.
