A man and woman are recovering from a scary home invasion in West Philadelphia Saturday evening.
Police say that four intruders, two men and two women, knocked on the door of a first floor apartment on 44th Street. When the female victim answered the door, the intruders stormed in and locked her and her roommate in a bedroom.
The suspects, one of whom was carrying a gun, then ransacked the house, grabbing electronics including a laptop, iPads and cell phones before dashing out of the back door, according to Southwest Detectives.
"It's disturbing and I'm a little shocked," said neighbor April Carter.
The victims weren't injured in the home invasion.
Police continue to investigate.
