Camden police have identified the man who was killed early Friday when gunfire erupted following a brawl inside a chicken restaurant.
Authorities say Franklin Parker, 36, was grabbing a bite to eat at Crown Fried Chicken on South Broadway when fists started flying and shots were fired.
Parker and a female friend were trying to get out of the restaurant when, police say, he was hit by a stray bullet.
“There were two people arguing and then the next thing you knew, it was a lot of gunfight" said Dionte Brown.
Another witness told NBC10 "Gun dropped, other dude picked it up- boom, boom- shot- dead.”
Another second man was also wounded in the gunfire.
Police say the alleged gunman and his friend took off in a new model pickup truck.
