2 Innocent Girls Shot During Graduation Party: Police

One girl is in critical condition and the other in stable, according to police

Two 13-year-old girls were shot Thursday night in Strawberry Mansion. Police tell NBC10 the girls were innocent bystanders and the street was full of kids because a graduation party.

The shooting happened just before 6:00 p.m. on the 2500 block of North Myrtlewood Street.

In total, 17 shots were fired, police said.

One of the teens was shot in the head. She's in critical condition as of Thursday night. The second victim had several graze wounds and is in stable condition.

Police tell NBC10 a 17-year-old boy was taken into custody. They are still searching for two or three other suspects.
