Three men stole the identity of a 68-year-old South Philadephia man and used it to go on a five month, $100,000 shopping spree at several major retailers, according to Philadelphia Police.
The men were captured on surveillance camera at one of the retailers. Detectives are asking for the public's help identifying them.
Investigators say the suspects opened credit accounts in the victim's name at Home Depot, Lowe's, Target and Macy's. Between January 2012 and May 2012, the suspects charged in excess of $100,000 on the credit cards, according to police.
Anyone who recognizes them is asked to call 215-686-TIPS or text to PPD TIP or 773847.
