Husband Shot, Killed Near Camden Convenience Store

Man, 52, shot, killed while walking with wife

A 52-year-old man walking out of a Camden convenience store with his wife died after being shot Sunday night and police were working Monday to figure out who pulled the trigger.

James Glover, 52, of the 200 block of 32nd Street in Camden was shot near 34th and Federal Streets after leaving a nearby 7-Eleven store, according to Camden County Prosecutors.

Glover’s wife reported hearing gunshots and seeing the flash of a gun firing around 10:15 p.m. She then saw her husband fall to the ground suffering from fatal wounds to his arm and chest, prosecutors said.

On Monday afternoon police were canvassing the area near the scene trying to track down if there is any surveillance video of the scene.

Police say it’s too early to determine a possible motive for the shooting.
