Human Skull Identified as Missing Newark Man

A human skull found in Delaware has been identified as a missing Newark man, according to the Delaware Medical Examiner.

A human skull found in Delaware has been identified as a missing Newark man, according to the Delaware Medical Examiner.

The skull was first discovered back on June 24 between the high and low tide beach area of Pea Patch Island near Delaware City. On Thursday, Hal G. Brown, Deputy Director of the Delaware Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, identified the skull as Timothy Finamore of Newark.

Finamore was last seen alive on October 15, 2010. He was 53 years old at the time of his disappearance. Police continue to investigate.
