A New Castle resident found human remains behind the Summit Chase Apartment complex in Wilmington. On Sunday, The County Police responded to the resident who was walking in a wooded area next to the apartment buildings at 2:53 p.m.
New Castle Police followed the resident from the unit block of Courtyard Lane, to the wooded area, known as Seller’s Park, where they were shown the skeletal remains of a human.
The Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause of death.
The investigation is ongoing.
