A female resident was able to safely escape a house fire in Delaware County Saturday morning.
The fire started at about 6:45 a.m. inside a home in the 300 block of Ballymore Road in Springfield.
Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control in less than an hour.
Fire officials say a female inside the home was able to get out safely.
The cause is under investigation.
