Hot Pockets Recall

The food store chain GIANT recalled a freezer favorite on Monday.

Hot Pockets Philly Steak and Cheese were removed from shelves after GIANT received word from Hot Pockets supplier Nestle USA that the pockets were recalled because of uninspected meat.

Rancho Feeding Corporation is the company that supplies the "slow cooked beef" inside the pockets and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) determined the meat was produced without all the required inspections.

So far no reported illnesses have been reported.

Customers who have purchased Philly Steak and Cheese Hot Pockets should throw out any unused portions.

GIANT is offering a full refund to those customers who bring in their purchase receipts.
