Six people were injured when a school bus and school van collided in an elementary school parking lot.

Six people were injured in a school bus accident in Montgomery County Tuesday morning.

Police say the accident happened in the parking lot of Simmons Elementary School on the 400 block of Babylon Street.

The accident, officials tell NBC10, involved a school bus and a school van and both children and adults.

A total of six people suffered minor injuries, but everyone involved was taken to Abington Memorial Hospital as a precaution.

No word on what caused the accident.
