A car struck and killed a horse on the Atlantic City Expressway.
The accident happened just after 3 a.m. Monday in Winslow Township.
State troopers managed to corral a second horse and located the animals' owner. It wasn't clear how the horses got on the highway linking the Jersey Shore to the Philadelphia region. [[404769245, C]]
The motorist received minor injuries.
