Pennsylvania Boy, 6, Dies After Being Stuck Between Horse-Drawn Carts in Chester County

Authorities in Chester County said a 6-year-old boy died after he was caught between horse-drawn hay carts.

Few details were available about the Wednesday morning accident along N Birdell Road in Honey Brook and authorities didn't identify the child.

The Chester County Coroner's Office said Thursday that the boy died from multiple traumatic injuries. The coroner ruled the death accidental.

Pennsylvania State Police said troopers were called to the scene around 9:15 a.m. after the boy had become pinned between the carts as they passed each other.

Authorities said the boy died a few hours later at Paoli Hospital.
