With a focus on the most impacted communities throughout the state, New Jersey is offering aid through grant awards to Homeowners who were impacted by Superstorm Sandy. The state of New Jersey has set up a reNewJersey Stronger website. It provides important information on federally funded programs that have been designed to assist in the repair and rebuilding of primary owner occupied residences. You may apply to multiple programs.
Beginning today, eligible homeowners can apply for elevation grant assistance at www.renewjerseystronger.org or by calling 1-855-SANDYHM (1-855-726-3946).
People can also apply in person at one of the Housing Recovery Centers open in each of the nine most-impacted counties.
