Homeless Man Crashes in Lap of Luxury

A homeless man has gone from the proverbial penthouse to the outhouse after Pittsburgh police say they found him sleeping in the "Presidential Suite" of one of the city's swankiest downtown hotels.

Officials say Jeffrey Lennon Watson, 48, was found sleeping on the sofa of the Omni William Penn Hotel's $2500-a-night "crown jewel” suite on Tuesday night.

Watson was discovered when guests were trying to check into the room, which features three bedrooms, crystal chandeliers and a sitting room.

Hotel security called police and the homeless man was taken to jail for the night.

He's facing charges of trespassing and theft of services, according to police. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for November 19.

Watson says he's just passing through the area on this way home to California.
