Three men burst into a home early this morning and attacked a woman inside.

When they left, all they had taken with them was $27, according to investigators on the scene.

The men burst into a home on the 1800 block on Wensley Avenue in the Kensington section of Philadelphia around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to Philadelphia Police.

During the break-in, an unidentified 43-year-old woman was hit in the head. She was taken to a nearby hospital where her condition wasn’t revealed.

The alleged attackers took the small amount of money and fled the home on foot, according to police.

No motive was given for the attack and it wasn't clear how the men forced their way into the house.
