Hoboken Police Chief Hilariously Live-Tweets SantaCon in Real Time

In case law enforcement doesn't work out, a New Jersey police chief could have a career in sports announcing.

Hoboken Police Department Chief Ken Ferrante provided laughs for Twitter users as he live-tweeted acts of mischief taking place throughout the day's events.

The Hoboken leg of the pub crawl started at 11 a.m. Saturday. The day's festivities started out relatively calm, until the first unofficial event β€”Naughty Santas throwing snowballs at pedestrians.

He wasn't too pleased with the Santas launching snowballs off a roof either.

Ferrante said five were arrested and 30 people were issued summonses. One Santa landed on the department's naughty list after he shoved a police officer issuing him a summons and took off running. He was taken into custody shortly after.

Two women enjoyed the festivities a little too much and decided to power nap inside of a Dunkin Donuts.

Chief Ferrante made sure to remind bar hoppers to stay safe and utilize public transportation for those who continued to get jolly throughout the night.
