Police are searching for a driver who fled from a hit and run with a school bus full of students. NBC10's Katy Zachry reports from Southwest Philadelphia.

A driver fled on foot after hitting a school bus and injuring four children inside, police said.

The hit-&-run happened on 56th Street and Lindberg Boulevard in Southwest Philadelphia at 7:10 a.m.

Police say a black Cadillac hit the bus injuring three 8-year-olds and an 11-year-old on their way to Harambee Institute of Science. All of them were taken to CHOP to be treated for minor injuries.

The driver of the Cadillac got out of the car and fled on foot, according to officers. He's described as a black male with a beard. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and black shorts.

Anyone with information is urged to call police.
