“Upskirt” Victims Could Number 100

A Lehigh County student is charged with filming up the skirts of female teachers and students at Emmaus High School and posting the images online.

The 15-year-old boy spent several months videotaping his victims but police only found out about it last month after getting a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Authorities have identified 19 victims so far but there could be as many as 100, according to the Bethlehem State police.

One student described how the boy secretly photographed some of her friends.

“In the classroom under the desk is how it happened to my friends. If he was sitting next to a girl and he did it to her while they were going upstairs. He was putting it up their skirts,” she said.

There were more than 200 videos in all. The boy was charged with invasion of privacy and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors.
