Girl, 5, Describes Mom's Heroin Use: Police

Police say the 5-year-old daughter of a Pennsylvania woman jailed on drug and child endangerment charges was able to describe her mother's heroin use in detail, and even named the man who brought drugs to her mother.

Online court records don't list an attorney for 20-year-old Tyanne Hamer, of Johnstown, who faces a preliminary hearing Feb. 11 on charges she possessed drugs and endangered her 5-year-old daughter, and two other children, a 3-year-old and a 4-month-old infant.

Police say Hamer tossed the infant across the couch when told she was being arrested Friday.

The woman's 5-year-old daughter told police a man named “Tone” brings her mother drugs, which the girl says her mom boils in a little spoon before putting it in a needle that she shoots into her arm.

The children are with relatives.
