Hearings Delayed for Former PSU Administrators

Court hearings have been delayed for two former Penn State administrators

Court hearings have been delayed for two Penn State administrators charged with lying to a grand jury investigating child sex abuse allegations against former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky.

Athletic director Tim Curley is on administrative leave, while Gary Schultz has retired as a vice president. They also each face a count of failing to report an allegation involving Sandusky in 2002 to authorities.

The Dauphin County Court Administrator's office said Tuesday their preliminary hearings have been pushed back 10 days to Dec. 16 in Harrisburg. No reason was given for the delay.

Sandusky was charged this month with sexually abusing eight boys over a 15-year period. His preliminary hearing is scheduled Dec. 13 in Centre County court.

Lawyers for all three men have maintained their clients' innocence.
