A head-on crash outside an area church left five people -- mostly seniors -- in the hospital Christmas morning.

The cars collided a little before 10 a.m. just outside St. Mary Magdalen Church at North Providence Road and Fawn Hill Lane in Media, Pa.

One car had five seniors inside while another person was driving the other vehicle, according to Upper Providence Township Police.

None of the victims suffered what appaered to be life-threatening injuries, investigators said.

None of the people involved were identified.

Police said it appeared one of the cars was turning out of the church at the time of the crash.
