Hate Speech in Bucks County High School's Bathrooms Prompts Letter to Parents

The superintendent of Council Rock School District in Bucks County sent a letter home to parents Thursday that acknowledged "sadly, we have experienced acts of vandalism and harassment at Council Rock North in the aftermath of Tuesday's presidential election."

Graffiti penned into the stalls of two bathrooms included a swastika and a warning "if Trump wins, watch out" and some Latino students reported "inappropriate comments," district Superintendent Robert Fraser said in the letter.

I cannot emphasize strongly enough how inappropriate these actions are and that they simply will not be tolerated," Fraser wrote, adding that the district has contacted Newtown Township police to investigate the incidents.

In his letter, Fraser listed four occurrences, including graffiti in two different bathrooms and two instances involving Latino students.
