Hall & Oates Promote Summer Tour with Help from Fred Armisen & Bill Hader

Former SNL comedians Fred Armisen and Bill Hader are helping Philadelphia music legends Hall & Oates kick off their summer tour.

Armisen and Hader play Gene Allen and Clark Honus of the fictitious soft-rock band the Blue Jeans Committee in this hilarious video in which they reminisce about their glory days.

"You know who used to open for us? Who we used to kick around? Daryl Hall and John Oates," says Hader's Clark Honus.

Armisen as Gene Allen adds, "We used to make fun of 'em cause they're from Philadelphia. Oh, I want a cheese steak!"

"The minute they hit it big they just left us in the dust. They don't really talk to us anymore. And that's a real Philly thing to do I think," Hader says.

The Hall & Oates tour kicks off May 13, 2016 in Dallas. They will be accompanied by Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue. They'll make their Philadelphia stop at the BB&T Pavilion on July 10.
