Gunman Targets 3 Teen Boys

Police are on the hunt for a gunman who they say targeted three teenage boys.

On Friday, around 11:45 p.m., police responded to a report of a person with a gun on the 4000 block of Germantown Avenue. When they arrived, they found a 16-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. The teen was taken to Temple University Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
Later on, police were notified about a second teen victim on the 1800 block of Pulaski. Police say a 15-year-old boy was shot in the leg and transferred to Temple Hospital.

Both victims told police they were hanging out at a gas station on the 4000 block of Germantown when a gunman approached them and opened fire before fleeing the scene.

On Sunday, shortly after 3 a.m., police received a report of another teen shooting victim at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. When they arrived at the hospital, they found a 15-year-old boy who was grazed by a bullet in his right and left calf. The teen told police he was shot while he was on the highway on the 4000 block of Germantown. Police suspect the same gunman who shot the first two teens also shot the third teen.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned male between the ages of 16 and 17 and standing at 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-8. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt.
