Police are searching for a suspect who they believe shot and killed a man who was sitting inside a car.
The incident happened early Tuesday morning around 1:30 a.m. on the 1700 block of West Juniata and Germantown Avenue.
Investigators say that a 26-year-old man was driving and parking his girlfriend’s car when the suspect approached the vehicle.
The suspect allegedly tapped on the window and began to fire his gun into the car before fleeing the scene. Police found the victim dead from multiple gunshot wounds shortly before 2 a.m.
Police say that the suspect is a black male who was wearing a black shirt. He was last seen running on foot from the 4100 block of Wayne Avenue.
