A federal grand jury in New Jersey has indicted a man accused of waging a three-state crime spree from Pennsylvania to New York that ended when he crashed near the George Washington Bridge.
Luis Figeuroa faces six counts including kidnapping, aggravated sexual abuse, assaulting a federal employee and brandishing a firearm in the commission of a violent crime.
The Bronx, New York, resident was arrested in June following a day of mayhem.
Authorities say Figueroa abducted and sexually assaulted a woman in Pennsylvania, assaulted a national park employee in New Jersey and stole her vehicle, torched a car dealership in New Jersey before stealing an SUV, and then tried to flee after crashing in New York.
