Teen Arrested in Shootout That Left 2 Girls Shot

Teenage boy arraigned for alleged role in shooting that left 2 13-year-old girls in the hospital

A 17-year-old was charged Friday with being involved in a Strawberry Mansion shooting of two 13-year-old girls Thursday night.

Police tell NBC10 the girls were innocent bystanders on a street full of kids because of a graduation party when shots rang out along the 2500 block of N Myrtlewood Street just before 6:00 p.m.

In total, 17 shots were fired, police said.

One of the teens was shot in the head. She remained in critical condition Friday afternoon. The second victim had several graze wounds and remained in stable condition.

Corley was taken into custody after the shooting and arraigned with two counts each of attempted murder, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and weapons charges. He was being held on $2-million bail, according to court records.

court records show that in the past Corley was detained in a juvenile facility but it's unclear why.

Police told NBC10 that they are still searching for two or three other suspects.
