Good Samaritan Unknowingly Provides Getaway Car

One good turn deserves another, but it didn't quite work out like that for a pair of good Samaritans in suburban Philadelphia.

Police say a man chased down a suspect who'd accosted a woman in the parking lot of a Feasterville bowling alley and ran off with her purse.

The bystander caught up with the female suspect, knocked her to the ground and retrieved the stolen handbag.

The Bucks County Courier Times reports that a couple in another car saw the good Samaritan tackle the suspect and thought they were witnessing a domestic dispute.

The driver offered the suspect a ride and she accepted, providing her a convenient getaway.

Police say the woman was dropped off about a quarter-mile away. She remains at large.

The incident happened Monday afternoon.
