Girlfriend Hurled Out of Moving Car

A woman was beaten and pushed out of her boyfriend's car – as he was driving --  all because she didn't side with him during an argument, according to the Delco Times.

"This is a bad guy. The victim is scared to death of him," said Upper Darby Police Superintendent Mike Chitwood.

Aaron Marcel Davis, 39, and the victim were at a bar near 69th Street and Marshall road when he got into an argument with another patron, according to police.

When his girlfriend didn't take his side in the dispute, Davis allegedly hit her so hard she fell to the ground. The two left, got into his car where Davis beat her again and then pushed her pushed her out of the moving car, Chitwood said.

A good Samaritan stopped to help the victim and stayed with her until police arrived. She was hospitalized for cuts to her head, face and neck.

"The defendant stated he would kill her and her family just like the other two women in his past if she called police," according to police records.

Davis beat two murder charges in the early 90s but went to prison on a number of other convictions. Police tracked him down in West Philly through his parole officer. Davis is charged with assault, terroristic threats and harassment.

"This is one guy who should not be on the streets, and we were able to get him before he killed this woman," Chitwood said.
