Three people, including a young girl, are in the hospital after a car accident in the Kensington section of the city. Police say one car drove into a parked vehicle.

It happened Wednesday around 4:30 p.m. on D and Ontario streets. A 3-year-old girl was taken to St. Christopher’s Hospital. She is currently in critical condition but is expected to survive. Two adults were also taken to the hospital. No word yet on their conditions.

Investigators say no child restraints were used for the girl during the time of the crash. Police also say the driver may have been driving under the influence of narcotics. This has not been confirmed however and police are waiting for the toxicology results.

No one has been charged in the accident as of now.
