Police found a teen girl who went missing during a basketball game at a Montgomery County gym on Saturday.

Gabrielle Egan, 14, of Lansdale, visited the Montgomery County Sports Performance Center on 110 Christopher Lane in Harleysville. Police say Egan was with her friend and family to watch her brother play basketball when she went missing around 5:15 p.m.

Police searched the gym as well as Egan’s home in Lansdale but did not find her. A canine unit, helicopters, multiple fire departments and officers on foot all searched for the girl.

Shortly before 11 p.m., police announced the girl was found. Investigators say the girl was found walking toward her home by an officer. The girl told police she left the gym early to go home but did not tell her parents.

The girl was not hurt and is currently with her family.
