Geno's Employee Beater Gets Work Release

Kevin Bacci will serve work release for his role in the beating.

Kevin Bacci was sentenced to work release, probation and restitution for his role in the December 2007 beating of a Geno's Steaks employee.

Bacci of Devon Pa. was found guilty of beating Geno's employee Tony Chestnut on the sidewalk outside of the famous South Philly steak shop on Dec. 27, 2007.

The early morning attack left Chestnut with a serious of serious injuries to his upper body.

Bacci's punishment for the early morning attack -- six to 23 months of work release, four years of probation, $1,000 in restitution and an order to stay away from Chestnut.

Bacci, 20, was with another man the night of the attack. That man was acquitted of charges.
