Teen Stabs Girl During Fight Near Gas Station in Cape May Court House: Police

A teen girl is recovering after she was stabbed near a gas station in Cape May Court House, New Jersey.

Police say the 14-year-old girl from Woodbine was involved in a fight with a 13-year-old girl from Wildwood near the Riggins Gas Station on 401 S. Main Street in Cape May Court House Friday. During the fight, the 13-year-old girl took out a knife and stabbed the 14-year-old girl, according to police.

The 14-year-old girl was later found in the bathroom at Middle Township High School’s Memorial Field during the school’s homecoming football game. She was taken to the Cape Regional Medical Center for treatment. Police say the 13-year-old girl was found inside her home in Wildwood shortly after.

Police have not yet revealed the specific charges the 13-year-old girl faces. They continue to investigate.
