At least 6 people were evacuated from their Northeast Philadelphia homes after a gas leak Thursday afternoon.
It happened on the 31-hundred block of Mechanicsville Road. An independent crew was working on a line outside a house when it ruptured, said a PGW spokesman.
4 homes were evacuated as a precaution. There are no injuries.
