The federal corruption trial of former state Sen. Vincent Fumo is back underway after a wrinkle over a key government witness.

Federal prosecutors say they probably won't call former computer technician Leonard Luchko to the stand. That's because they learned Luchko has been e-mailing Fumo and posting comments about the case on a newspaper blog.

The trial has resumed with another technician's testimony after a one-day delay.

But the judge is giving the defense Wednesday morning to go through more of the thousands of newly discovered Luchko e-mails before they cross-examine the witness.

Fumo is charged with defrauding the state senate, a charity and a museum of more than $3.5 million.
